The SARTQ Artist Collective is proud to present Legacy x Response:
SARTQ Responds to a Century of ACS—a dynamic group exhibition
that explores and honors the rich, evolving history of Art Center
Sarasota.

This exhibition invites members of SARTQ to engage in a
creative dialogue with the past, crafting contemporary responses
to the legacy of the Sarasota Art Association and the original
artists who shaped the foundation of ACS.

The SARTQ Artist Collective is excited to present Day Dreams, a captivating group exhibition that delves into the enigmatic and surreal world of dreams. This exhibition will transport viewers into the subconscious, inviting them to explore the complexities, contradictions, and hidden meanings that reside within our dreams. Through a diverse range of artistic mediums—from painting and sculpture to mixed media, photography, and installation—Daydreams aims to evoke an immersive and thought-provoking experience where reality and imagination intertwine.

FRAGILE CONCRETE

BLURRED IDENTITIES PAAP @LITTLE RIVER 2024:

The exhibition "Blurred Identities" by Florida International University Art Students at Pan American Art Projects is a collective effort that explores the multifaceted nature of identity through various themes. The exhibition will take place at the Little River gallery from July 14 to September 7, 2024. It is curated by Sandra Ramos and Claudia Taboada and features the work of selected students from the painting class at Florida International University. The exhibition delves into the complex layers of self-reference, addressing issues of gender, memory, cultural identity, and migration, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the FIU student body. The artworks use modern and contemporary references, such as the Fauvist movement, "bad painting," surrealism, Joseph Beuys's conceptualism, and Russian realism, to articulate the complexities of building a sense of home and identity in an ever-globalized society.
